Fraké - Limba Blanca

Wood type

Fraké, or Limba Blanca, is a tropical hardwood species native to West Africa, with growing areas mainly in countries such as Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana.

The wood has a characteristic light colour, ranging from yellowish white to pale yellow, which gives it the nickname "Limba Blanca". The grain is generally straight and fine, resulting in an even and attractive texture.

Fraké generally falls in durability class 3 to 4, meaning it is moderately durable. However, because of its moderate durability, it is less often recommended for outdoor applications. This wood is valued for its lightness and easy machinability, making it a popular choice for various carpentry and construction purposes.
